About me
I’m Maggie Reynolds, a junior studying Industrial Design at the Rochester Institute of Technology. I’ve always been drawn to creating things that make a difference in people’s everyday lives. For me, design isn’t just about form or function, it’s about empathy, and finding thoughtful ways to connect people and products. Whether I’m sketching, prototyping, or refining a model, I love the process of turning an idea into something real and useful.
My biggest inspiration comes from my grandmother, who lives with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) type 2, a form of muscular dystrophy. Watching her navigate life with such strength and positivity, despite the challenges she faces, has shaped how I think about design. She never lets anything hold her back, and that resilience motivates me to create solutions that make daily tasks easier and more accessible. Every project I take on is designed with care, purpose, and a genuine understanding of the people who will use what I create.
